We have an immediate opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to take on an exciting challenge in the local and interstate road transport sector. This is your chance to become a valued member of an established, but growing family owned business based in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs. As one of their valued Business Development Managers you’ll be given the freedom to showcase your outstanding sales skills by offering transport services to a variety of customers throughout Victoria.
The successful candidate will spend two days per week in the office and the rest of your week on the road meeting people and generating new business.
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience selling transport solutions. You will be tenacious, have a hunter instinct, and the ability to close out deals.
You will need:
- The ability to work autonomously towards the overall team goals
- The ability to hunt down new business and close out deals
- To enjoy cold calling and meeting new customers
- Outstanding organisation & communication skills
- A high degree of self-motivation
- Strong business acumen
- Three or more years’ experience selling transport services within the domestic market
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, plus tools of the trade (car, phone and laptop), plus an attractive commission structure.
