Accounts Officer – Part Time

Our client is a leading industrial machinery supplier based in Derrimut. Due to a recent departure they have an immediate vacancy for an Accounts Officer to join the team on a part time basis.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the weekly / monthly accounting and payroll functions of the company. This role is being offered as 1.5 days per week (flexible times / school hours).

 

Duties:

 

  • Responsible for the accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Fixed assets reconciliation
  • Bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Stock processing and reconciliations
  • Assist with financial reports
  • Maintain accounting system (MYOB – multi-currency)
  • Creating and distributing invoices

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

 

  • Previous experience as an accounts officer in a similar role
  • A certified accounting qualification
  • Advanced PC skills (Excel) and Microsoft office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good work ethic
