Our client is a leading industrial machinery supplier based in Derrimut. Due to a recent departure they have an immediate vacancy for an Accounts Officer to join the team on a part time basis.
The successful candidate will be tasked with the weekly / monthly accounting and payroll functions of the company. This role is being offered as 1.5 days per week (flexible times / school hours).
Duties:
- Responsible for the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Fixed assets reconciliation
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Stock processing and reconciliations
- Assist with financial reports
- Maintain accounting system (MYOB – multi-currency)
- Creating and distributing invoices
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience as an accounts officer in a similar role
- A certified accounting qualification
- Advanced PC skills (Excel) and Microsoft office programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A good work ethic
