JV has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic Fleet Controller to join one of our clients in the south east. This growing local and interstate transport operator needs an experienced, and highly motivated Fleet Controller to join their team. As Fleet Controller the successful candidate will ensure the safe and efficient allocation of all picks ups and deliveries across the operation. You will also provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

 

Duties:

 

  • Allocation of transport /drivers to each job
  • Maintain communication with drivers and operations staff regarding pick ups / deliveries
  • Assist with customers with updates
  • Handle any complaints or delays from customers regarding their goods
  • Report and help solve operational problems, with the help of the operations team
  • General ad-hoc duties

 

Skills / experience:

 

  • A high attention to detail
  • Good PC skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good geographical knowledge of Melbourne and Victoria
  • Previous driver management experience

 

On offer is a full time position with a growing local and interstate transport provider. Salary based on experience.
