We are seeking the services of an experienced warehouse supervisor to join a busy transport company based in the Western Suburbs Melbourne.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your main responsibility will be to supervise the daily warehousing & transport component of the operation.

To be successful in this role you will be a self motivated operations supervisor with a strong work ethic. You will have a high attention to detail, combined with strong leadership skills. Candidates with experience in container transport and 3PL warehousing are highly desirable.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsibility for OH&S onsite
• Training & development of staff
• Coordination of daily warehouse operation and staff activities
• Supervision of container unloads
• Preparation of goods for transport
• Daily administration
• Ad-hoc duties

Skills Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years warehouse supervisory experience ideally with a transport or freight forwarding operation.

• Current forklift licence

• Quarantine experience is highly desirable

• Good time & people management skills

• Proactive team player with strong leadership skills
