We are seeking an experienced container transport Fleet Controller with wharf time slotting experience, to join a busy, high volume transport company in the western suburbs of Melbourne. This role requires a confident and organised individual to co-ordinate the day to day transport operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for transport operations (Wharf and local distribution).
• Assisting with bookings and enquiries
• Liaise with drivers and customers on a regular basis
• Co-ordinate a large number of wharf time slots (daily)
• Resolve any problems quickly and effectively
• Preparation for next day operations by close of business each day

Skills/Experience:

• First class – time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Advanced Computer Skills
• 4 years plus, experience with a high volume transport company
• WHARF TIME SLOTTING EXPERIENCE

This role would suit a Fleet Controller who has worked for a mid to large container transport operation. You must have prior experience with wharf operations / time slotting, to be able to hit the ground running in this position.
